The storyline is based on a true story of a selfless mother who protected her child throughout the 7.9 magnitude earthquake. When the mother was discovered by the rescuers, she had already died from the house that collapsed. However, the rescuer noticed her unusual posture, kneeling on the ground with both of her arms supporting her upper body. When people cleared away the rubble around her, they found her 3 to 4-month-old baby, wrapped in a blanket, sleeping soundly under her, still alive. After that, the rescuing doctor found a mobile phone inside the baby’s blanket and on the screen was a message that said: "My beloved baby, if you can survive, please remember that I love you." I first saw it on 9gag then after I watched this mv I recognize the storyline So I search it on wikipedia . And it was true . So for those who confused , here you go . ;)

Seriously, how can ppl be confused about the story? His mother died in an earthquake when he was a child, one day he accidentally meets a girl who looks like his mother so he started hanging around her a lot. Then the girl finds out that it's not *that* kind of love and it's actually just tao missed his mother. So she leaves in the end, but Tao's still happy that he met her because it was like he saw his mum again even for a short time.

From what I know (correct me if I'm wrong). This story is based on the earthquake that happened in China in 2008. Tao and Vic(his mother) had a strong relationship. During the earthquake, Vic protected Tao and later died. Later in his life, Tao meets Vic(who looks like his mother) and protects her(like the car and the mob). Later out Vic finds out that she looks like Tao's mother and I don't know what happened from there on.

I was only tearing up from the video and then I read the comments and the tears came tumbling down. This is the first time an SM MV made me cry.

My fav part is wheb there both working and they bump into each other and he fixes her tie I found that really cute. This needs to be made into a movie cuz its beautiful. Not ma,y music videos r like this they normaly have fancy cars and sexy woman and all that crap but this artist chose it to be different. It stands out from all the others.

I think that using Tao as an actor in Zhang Li Yin's MV was a very strong marketing move on SM's part, I know that a lot of people might not have watched the MV if Tao hadn't been in it. But, now that we've seen Tao act, we know that he's incredibly talented, and now that we've seen Zhang Li Yin sing, we know that SHE'S AMAZING. I love her voice and I'm so happy SM is using smart ways to market her new video! The video was very original and her voice is absolutely astonishing!! I love it and I can't wait to see more from her!!!!!

This video just reminds me of how SM loves to promote others over Li Yin. EVEN in her OWN song. Li Yin's undying patience for SM is painfully frustrating, yet incredibly admirable.

Yea, I'm so sick of SM and their shit. She's so underrated! It's like in every mv she's in, there's usually another sm artist in it to promote the song. If they actually promoted her more on music shows and variety shows, she wouldn't need other sm artists to promote her songs. More people would come to listen to her voice, not watch their biases act in the mv. The acting is pretty good, but it just takes the spotlight away from her :/

I think the part where the mom saved the kid from the earthquake is true.. I actually read this thing about a mom saving her kid in the Chinese earthquake: "this is a true story of a Mother’s Sacrifice during the China Earthquake. After the Earthquake had subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman’s house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like a person was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supported by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head. With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescue team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman’s body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure. He and the rest of the team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to the ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement,” A child! There is a child! “ The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother’s dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up. The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!" could it be? O.o

this video is so touching coz it is telling about a mother protecting the kid and a loving wife says good bye to her husband. both TAO and VICTORIA did a wonderful job in the MV.

Oh this MV is the best from SM.. they did well only for this one.. successfully made everyone cried.. thumbs up and respect for Zhang Li Yin.. hope she won't be ignored..

The only true C-pop music from SM Entertainment. *thumbs up*
