Rather than fangirling over Song Jae Rim, Victoria, or Tao, can we talk about Zhang Li Yin? Seriously, everybody is always talking about someone else, with small comments like "Oh her singing is nice" tacked on as an after thought. Really since her last single in 2009 her voice has gotten even more beautiful, she looks healthy and not RIDICULOUSLY thin, she honestly looks like she's been doing well in the last few years, AND HER VOICE IS STILL FRIGGIN BREATHTAKING.

A lot of people probably came for Tao and Victoria but do you hear this girl's voice?! SHE IS AMAZING!!!

I like this MV. I love how this mv shows the love between tao's parents , is quite sweet. Btw, Tao is surprisingly good at acting and song jae rim is really handsome here.

Zhang Liyin should not renew contract with SM anymore. When did she debut? And this is only her 4th single? not even mini album?? And it is a remake. At least let her sing original songs with both Chinese and Korean versions.

Loving Liyin's voice in this song. It's beautiful and emotional. Tao and Vic did a good job portraying their characters, but the way this MV is arranged makes the plot kinda confusing @_@...had to rewatch it a few times lol

I don't think that's the story of the mv. I think he wants to live like he did in the past when his parents were still alive or something. Like being a firefighter as the father was, ect. Possible, yes or maybe.

There isn't any romantic love for them. Even in this mv the feeling is not about romance. It's more of Tao missing his mom and dad. Seeing how in the mv Tao sees how his parents met and fell in love. He give the flowers to Victoria like how his father gave to his mother. Knowing that Victoria is the only person who resemble his mom. So he makes to make her happy, like he is making his mom happy.

ZhangLiYin's voice is perfect!!! Miss her!!!

Tao is the son of Victoria (The person in the flashbacks with his father). The person in the present is not his mom but just a a girl who bears a striking resemblance to her.

Nope, Vic just looks exactly like his mother, who sacrificed herself to save him during an earthquake. If you watched the previous MV you'll get a better understanding ^^ It was based off a true story that happened during the Sichuan earthquake back in 2008(?), whereby the mum died while saving her son and left a very touching text. So in the two MVs, Tao basically grows up and meets Vic who is a carbon copy of his mum. He fell in love, at first because she reminded him of his late mother, and then for her completely. Vic felt angry because who wouldn't I mean you fell in love in a guy who liked you because you looked like his mother? So anyway, in this continuation, for some reason the gangsters kept bothering her but Tao saved the day. Bastard police comes into the picture and Tao gets thrown into jail. Tao worked hard to become a firefighter like his dad and so he could kind of share a love story like his parents' (he was captivated by their love story, as you can see in the MV). Rather than being obsessed over the fact that Vic looks like his mum, Tao wants to continue his parents' story, which was cut short because of the earthquake. Woah I wasn't expecting to leave such a long reply but here you go ^^

I think this 'Not Alone M/V by Zhang Liyin' is the about how tao's mom(Vic) and dad met. And because Vic got amnesia, Tao is following his dad's footsteps for Vic to remember the memories that she have forgotten.

17seventeenforever17 she is lipsyncing for the music video...yes she recorded it, its her voice but to keep singing live during a music video shoot is kind of tiring..when you shoot a music video it can take like a day and they voice over the soundtrack anyways so shes probably not really singing in the music video takes thats why it looks different with the live.

17seventeenforever17 they do lipsync in the mv. It takes like a day or more to shoot a music video so to be singing to the whole thing would be tiring plus they voice over the recorded soundtrack with the music video so I think your confused about something.

so at the start, victoria is kidnapped by a gang and tao chases after them and beats them all up, thus the police catches him and he goes into prison (thats why you see victoria and him talking through the glass) and afterwards he's released. then tao remembers all the memories of his mother and father, his mother who coincidentally looks like victoria. his father i think died in a fire because he was a fireman, so tao studies to become a fireman and i think tao and victoria get together in the end :)

Kimberly Luong Since he was not the person being forced to do something, I suppose self defense isn't a very legitimate argument. Besides, he beat up those guys and wasn't hurt at all, so the law is going to look more harshly on him. Especially if he has martial arts training, which the character probably does (I mean we all know Tao does haha).

This is one of the most beautiful ballads I've heard in a while :) SM should do this kind of music more often. Zhang Li Yin has such a beautiful voice and she is so graceful. All in all, its a wonderful work with the MV and the actors work! Bravo
