Please read this is Important: I heard the news first thing in the morning. I thought it was some sick prank, but as I scrolled through my timeline it was everywhere. This has been the longest two days of my life. Every time I remembered I couldn't believe it. Even right now I still can't believe it. Shawols, I'm so sorry. Jonghyun was the sweetest person I've ever seen. His music got me through my hard times. To know he felt this way and was rejected help opens up our eyes a bit. Mental Illness is serious, my dad has PTSD and Depression and I worry about him a lot. There isn't enough help for people suffering like this... Jonghyun was open about his depression, he advocated for human rights. He was an amazing person. He was never afraid to speak his mind. I feel like a complete idiot. All the signs were out there, yet we couldn't see it. The moment we heard the news it was too late. We can't turn back the clocks as much as I would love to we can't. Many of you may have conflicted feelings about this. Some of you may feel angry, dazzed or depressed. Jonghyun wouldn't want us to be depressed. Jonghyun would want us to live. Jonghyun couldn't battle his demons any longer. He didn't have help. Please look at all the signs Jonghyun showed. We couldn't save him but we can save others. We need to pick up where Jonghyun left off. A sweet boy who would comfort others before himself, he was someone who was lovely, honest and kind. He fought for women's rights. for LGBTQ rights. For mental illness. Jonghyun would want us to turn something so sad and crushing into love. Love those you come across. Love and guide those who are suffering. Love and stand up for the people who can't get through life alone. But most importantly please love yourself. You who should go before others. You need to treat yourself with care. Reach out to people when you feel down and lonely. Give yourself time to heal. Don't overwork yourself. Always have a healthy mindset. There are so many people who have left this world the way Jonghyun has. We couldn't save them but we can save others, we can save ourselves. I love all of you. As you mourn make sure you still look after yourself. Crying leads to dehydration, please drink water. Please eat something healthy to keep you strong. Let us bring happiness and love to this sad and dark time. You've all worked hard. Jonghyun, mi amor, you've worked hard. Please find Peace. Stay safe everyone, I love you

When Taeyeon came in a 0:47 I literally stopped breathing. Their voices blend beautifully. Jonghyun wrote "Lonely" with Taeyeon in mind and it's heartbreaking to listen to them sing it together.

If only Korean society had a 21st century understanding of mental illness, people would have understood what Jonghyun meant about being depressed rather than saying, "You're the Main Vocalist for SHINee. How can you be unhappy?". [BTW, replace Jonghyun with Taeyeon and SNSD for SHINee and the sentence works EXACTLY the same]. He could have been diagnosed and treated (yes, depression can be effectively treated) and he almost certainly would still be alive today being a much beloved idol and bringing joy to millions. From K-dramas I've seen, mental illness is found to be _funny_ , rather than something to be sympathized with and treated as an illness. Do you think it's _funny_ when someone has a stroke? Jonghyun's death would mean so much more if it started to change Korean's attitude, but unfortunately I don't see it happening (correct me if I'm wrong).

Here's a thing . For everyone out there especially K-Pop Fans . If you hate some idols , never comment or bashing them . Because you never know about their problem or their struggles , being a K-Pop idols mean you have to be "PERFECT" for everyone especially for their fans . We , as a K-Pop fans have to understand them . Never judge them whenever they dating with someone , or involved in some scandal . Even, if you are disappointed with them , never judge or bash them . They are human , they also make a mistake just like us . We should support them even if we are disappointed . I'm not trying to show off , I'm a 2nd gen K-Pop fans , and in fact , i don't really like a 3rd gen K-Pop group, but i never jedge them . Just because i hate them that doesn't mean they are not talented, i just hate'em because their fans don't appreciate the 2nd gen K-Pop group . I'm not a Shawol . I like Key more than Jonghyun actually , but i love Jonghyun voice . It's so sweet and so addicting for me . Everytime i feel sad i always listen to his song . He's a talented singer . R.I.P Jonghyun Oppa :'( . You've done a wonderful job . This is not the end , this is the beginning for us , to always support our idols , we love you Jonghyun , but God loves you more . p.s Sorry for my broke English:(
