@@div3679 I don't know how much you've explored, but I'll recommend you to watch their concert videos. They've one of the best Live stages. And you'll get to know about their many songs from concerts. And if you wanna know them as individual, watch shows like knowing Bros, weekly idol, hello baby.

At first I didn't understand why there was a white girl in the MV, but if you look at the lyrics it actually makes a lot of sense. Taemin talks about missing a lover who is separated from him and that he can't move on because he hopes that maybe some day she will return to him. He compares the two of them to "the setting sun and the rising moon", meaning two forces that are never able to appear at the same time. This could actually be a reference to geological separation (she is probably from Europe/America and he is from Asia) or racial separation. The song has a traditional Asian sound, which could imply that interracial love is not accepted yet (the old car also suggests that the time period is not modern). Society may forbid their love. Taemin says "I hope that this undying flame can someday embrace you gently" and that the "Flame of love" will be kept aflame until she returns to him. He hopes that some day their love will be accepted and they can be together. And they probably will be, since she hugs him at the end. So the white girl actually serves a purpose, she helps to tell a beautiful story of love that transcends race and prejudice.

Most of his Japanese stuff does Sam like anime a lot of people say that he even looks like an anime characters especially when he wears different outfits and hair colors.

I discovered Taemin through Move but his japanese songs settled that I would actually stay. His sensibility, his dance, his voice... I entered a new world and haven't quit ever since.

If you scroll down you can see a comment (unless it's been deleted) with around 80/90 likes that said something like, 'Where does SM get all these basic white girls from?', which even had comments that specifically said, 'ikr she's so ugly'. You can talk about her performance or her facial expressions or how awkward she was in the video, because that's something that she has control over and if she has bad acting then it's her own fault. What I'm talking about are the people that are just judging her by her appearance, something she can't change (and shouldn't want to because she's beautiful) and insulting her like she's not an actual human being who has feelings.

I agree. But honestly, so are all of us, we just can't see it. Being healthy, being rich enough to spend crazy money on your appearance, working a job that is primarily developing and selling your artistic talents (and your appearance) _does_ help us see it in Taemin. But we are all art in different ways.

TAEMIN Released his new album 3 days ago , his title track criminal has only 4,5 views on KZread , and all I can tell is that it’s a real masterpiece , and he really put a lot of efforts in it , please shawols and taemints let’s stream more , let make him happy , our goal now is 15 million views in a week . Angela Zhong That's because music industry, even if it doesn't seem like it, is very different from Korean to Japan. In Japan indie bands, R&B / Soul songwriters and singers are much more praised than the idols (in most cases). While in Korea is pretty much all the other way. In Japan their "idols" don't really train like Korean idols. There's a bunch of things in which they are different.
