This is what happens when SM gives their artist freedom. Pure art that beautifully expresses the artist's soul, not just some fabrication about superpowers, etc. (There's nothing wrong with that, but it feels less sincere? idk.) I just hope that the artist won't have to fight for his freedom next time, that he won't have to cry after filming, that he will have the full freedom because you see this video? IT'S A MASTERPIECE.

Crying is a normal cathartic emotion that many creative people experience after completion of a project. I certainly don't know Key, nor was I in the room when he was working, so I can't comment on his experience. I'm simply saying crying isn't always bad. For me it clears away the remnants of the project so I can start the next journey with a free slate.

@@michellesCanape agree. But for Key’s case, he cried because he felt overwhelmed after what he’s been through. I imagine fighting for his own creative freedom cost many things. Not to mention shinee has been treated like a step son for so long now. There are many drama, different opinions, budget issue, and some of his visions were scrapped completely. And when it’s finally over, he cried. His tears were tragic, and many fans wished he will not have to suffer this kind of hardship anymore.

Admit it, Shawols. We're staying in this Keyland forever.

I’m crying out of happiness for him. He deserve so many people to know about his talent, music, fashion, dancing skills, voice etc. SM really needs to believe in the OG singers. They have the talents, skills, experiences, fan base and so much more. Love Key’s voice started from that one line in Replay. That deep unique nasal sound. I hope and wish each of the Shinee members to get as much attention and love they deserve. Starting from Jonghyun, then Taemin, now Key, later Onew and Minho. Shinee 5 Forever. I really like this song. It's creative, he can sing (not only has been teached how to sign, but also he has a beautiful voice and talent). I like different group the most, but I noticed that SHINee and SHINee members are not typical boy group/ idols anymore. Their comebacks are getting better and solo projects are interesting. They're more innovative than some new artists nowadays yet there's still that old school something about them. This song deserves to be noticed, he did well. Can't wait to see the performance. Nowadays songs are only about strong bass and complicated choreography. This choreography is not easy, but I can call this project a SONG. Something worth my attention, not only "wow effect" for crowds.

This song is criminally underrated. I never could get into Shinee, but I'm truly loving Key's solo work. As soon as I heard the first few seconds, I knew this would become an all time favorite kpop song for me. His musical vision and (retro b-movie-esque) aesthetics feel so unique within the genre, not to mention that he is an excellent dancer and beautiful doing it. I only wish I knew about his solo work sooner.

They've been playing this on my Spotify a lot lately. Really like the 80s electronic vibes of the song. Easily one of my favorite Kpop songs now

I came here from Killer, and the 80s vibe just suits key SO much. he is special in how he can pull this kind of concept off, and his voice is so powerful !!!

His voice is metallic? Like it stings- its like a weapon and he lets it resound around the space and u get to hear his emotions bounce back 2 u and the person hes singing about narratively. istg hes my favorite person and hes so smart and particular abt where he's gonna place his voice and hit the most emotional resonance and create a simultaneous peaceful and buzzy feedback loop, its addicting. (The electric logo is apt!) u can tell he thinks his stuff through. Carefully and delicately, but def not afraid to let any rough edges out if it exposes the song itself as more 'honest' if that makes sense. So like 3 layers or characters to how he chooses to give voice to a song, thats what it gives me. I have to say it. A king.

It’s really RARE something this special comes along. I mean is it not pretty much perfect ?! The mv look, the theme, the melody, the layered chorus, the choreography, key’s charisma, his VOICE, his face, the fashion, and every scene cut to perfection. The song is electrifying. Key sings every line with such emotion. It’s rare for an SM artist to be allowed to have so much control over the whole concept, and KEY’s vision was… THIS. I mean. The talent !!! He is so amazing.

I think people misunderstand LSM a lot, when the artists sometimes bash SM they're not really going for him, there is a lot of people and a board of directors before LSM. As far as I see he always seems to be on board himself when SHINee pick their concepts. I think he genuinely trusts them.

Key is literally the only person in the whole industry who can carry off such avant-garde concepts! He is the ultimate performance genius! Crazy amount of talent and artistry, amazing strong vocals, king of dance and charisma, impeccable style and taste, and OMG his perfect visuals.

Further to that I was in many bands in my youth, as a drummer and then bass player which as a girl was unusual. I was into rock and heavy metal. But this is literally music to my ears It's a masterpiece

Shinee is really on a different level. All of them have just such a distinctive music identity and uniqueness. None could replace them, none comes close to them. All of them are real gems and the industry should be grateful to have them. I consider myself lucky for existing at the same time of these people and for getting to know them and their art. Key put all of himself in this song and in this album and it shows. It shows.

Key was my first bias of SHINee. His whole persona caught my eye instantly. Then like every Shawol I went from bias to bias until I couldn’t chose anymore. My love for Key has only increased with the years. Key is the ultimate all rounder!
