just my personal opinion about what the mv means, i feel like taeyeon as a waitress is just like her as an idol, always having to meet people's expectations and living up to their standards they have of her. she finds it easy at first since after all, its her dream to be a singer. but after some time the employer started lashing out on her, and this depicts that she had gained haters, and she lost her carefree life that she used to have in the past, which are the scenes of her running about in the fields. then the butterfly in the mv, that depicts her family, friends & snsd. these people encourage and constantly tell her to ignore these haters and motivate her to go on stronger. that's when she realized, hater's opinions don't matter anymore and haters shouldn't stop her from living her carefree life. so in the mv, she quits on her job (like quitting on her haters) and she goes off to find her carefree self again, and she did. thats when in the mv, her carefree self in the past meets her present.

This is still the best solo debut for me. The standard, a grand solo debut. Because the song and the concept is so timeless that we could still listen to it from time to time, and it still feels modern. Not to mention that Taeyeon is also the one that make this sounds fantastic. When i heard that Wendy is preparing for her solo debut, i kinda want her to have a debut like Taeyeon I because of how amazing this is, and it also suits Wendy too. I hope Taeyeon will do a collab with Wendy in the future🤍

Now I understand why Tiffany cried when she first listen to this song. I'm not totally a fan of GG. I'm a YG stan but I love all the songs of GG. But now I want to be part of their fandom and even I want to be a SM stan. You don't need to be a SM stan or Sone when you watch this MV of Taeyon, even if your from another fandom or you like another entertainment. Because when I watch this I want to cry badly even if I don't understand Korean Langauge. I feel that the message of this song is sooo beautiful because it's about life. Actually to be honest, I cried when I watched this for the 2nd time. And because of this MV I decided to subscribe now to SM Ent. Because within 8years, I don't want to subscribe to SM because I am loyal to YG. Because of YG I became a KPOP fan! So there it is! Just sharing my thoughts back then.. But still i think in terms of longevity and recognition taeyeon takes the crown with ‘I’ it will always be one of the most known songs in all of korea and as her debut solo. I think Jennie obviously wins in terms of views and ifans but that isn’t all that’s needed to be legendary. But Solo is indeed a very successful debut

I remember listening to this when I was 9. I would listen to it everywhere I went. If I was in the shower, I would be listening to it. If I was in the car, I was listening to it. If I was eating, I was listening to it. I remember trying so hard to find this song but I couldn’t quite remember what the name was, so eventually I gave up. I am now 14, and I’ve finally found it. This song helped me relive all my greatest memories, and I will forever be grateful for that. This song is, and will remain as my comfort song.
