Anyone else cried watching him talk about all his efforts and internal struggles and fear that people might not like what he's doing? I loved the way taemin said that he wants to show himself through his music. Rather than having a target audience, he chooses to display parts of himself and then leaves it open for everyone who connects with him. Honestly, expressing yourself through your art is the biggest accomplishment of an artist

Im literally crying when i saw this comment.

He’s not only an idol but an artist. After know more about him, you’ll respect him more. He really works so so hard and always try to improve himself. There are many fantastic artists in Korea, but he’s the special one. You can’t find any other person who’s familiar with him. HE IS THE ONLY ONE. I enjoy the music and dance every time he shows to us. He never stops. You can always find something new from him. I can’t explain how wonderful he is. But it will be such a pity if you don’t know TAEMIN.

The thing about taemin and shinee is.. WE as a fans, not stanning them bcs of their funny, and off-performance content. We choose to stay, as they have been consistently providing us a genuine arts, musics, performances, etc. Thats why, this feeling stays longer. Its more entertaining to watch their behind the stage, rather than some YT contents or anything like others did. Its hard to describe this feeling.. huft

태민이 인터뷰... 와 너무 좋은데.... 되게 사람 대 사람으로 그리고 음악을 하는 아티스트로도 더 달리보이고 더 멋져보이고 무엇보다도 앞으로가 더 궁금해지고 지켜보고 싶게 만들 인터뷰 같음

오래 보다보니 취향, 생각들도 비슷해진 것 같아서 정말 놀랐다. 데미안을 꼽은 것도, 단순히 들었을 때 좋은 곡보다 몇 번 더 꼬아서 보기를 즐기는 것도. 여러 원하는 곡과 대중성 사이에서 고민을 하고 있다는 것도. 태민이 참 생각 많은 사람인 것도 요즘 들어 더 느껴진다. 그렇지만 참 올바르고 건강한 생각을 하는 사람인 것이 가장 다행이다. 그동안 해왔던 컨셉들이 사실 너무 몰입하게 되면 힘든 류의 것들 같았는데 스스로 분리할 줄 아는 것도 너무 기특하고 매력적이기도 하다. 무엇보다 팬으로써 너무 안심이 된다. 요즘 들어 짝궁들이랑 더 애틋해진 것도 있고 본인의 일에 있어서 의견이나 여러 생각들을 말하는 것도 있고 참 성숙해졌음을 느낀다. 태민이라는 사람을 일찍 알아봐서 참 행운이고 태민이와 짝궁들 사이의 애틋함이 그 누구도 가질 수 없는 신기한 것이라 소중하다. 하나뿐인 내 짝궁 오래오래 건강하게 함께 보자. 너가 주는 것 만큼 너도 우리한테 많은 힘 얻어갔으면 좋겠어.

Taemin is the most *sincere* person I've ever seen. I love him so much and I'm so proud to be a fan. My journey with him for almost 2 years may be short but he has taught me a lot of things and watching him grow like this never fails to put a smile on my face.

Don't be over stressed because of the expectation. You never failed to reach the expectation. Infact you are already so much higher than anyone can imagine. Whatever comes from you is ART. So don't worry and enjoy what you are doing and try out everything you wanna try. Don't hold back or be burdened by the 'expectations'. I think it's beautifully sincere and humble of him to say that he wished others wouldn't refer to him as the senior in the industry. He wants to be more than an idol, which is, to me, true musical artistry. And we don't get a lot of singers and groups who say that.

He's so articulate and everything he says has depth. Its way opposite of the Taemin we see often as maknae, as baby cheese. He's so hands on in this project and knows exactly what he wants. Lots of respect for that. He's not just a singer or performer, he's truly an artist that wants to relay a message to the world.

Taemin, The Blueprint of Kpop ever. The Best soloist of all time

I always liked him and he always stood out from the other idols in my opinion. His style is very unique and even if you don't listen to Shinee or his music, when you hear his voice or you see him dance you know it's him. I guess that's why so many idols look up to him. No one can do it like Taemin does. It's a great comeback and I'm sure he'll win over many more people just by being himself.

I think that Taemin deserves all the respect. And also, I think he is really lucky to be placed in SHINee even though he did not think he was ready at that age. Because he is in SHINee, who experiment in many genres and challenges that other groups don't, he got to expand himself as well. This also helped in making the current Taemin that we know and love.

Taemin is a sample of perfection

I’m really glad that a program like The Stage was created (thank you Director Shindong!) because it lets the artists give a more upclose and personal behind-the-scenes view of what goes into a performance, song/album preparations, promotions, etc. on top of the actual stages themselves.
