The title and the thumbnail is misleading. If it was promoted as a music video, it would've got more views. Tbh when I first clicked this, i expected a medley of Ace album but this is like a full music video of ace which is a bonus to me. I think many people thought it’s just a album promotion teaser, that's why they didn’t click the video at the first place

I love the fact that Taemin's female dancers aren't over-sexualized. Not in this video, and in Danger the females are wearing suits like everyone else. I love it, it shows that the women are equal and not just sex objects (but no one has anything against Taemin, he is too fucking sexy!!!)

I agree. I like how the female dancers are actually doing hardcore choreo rather than the typical butt-shaking/grabbing/touching/waving that most girl groups do for 90% of their choreography. Of course this choreo has some "sexy" concepts to it (like the hip thrusts or whatever) but the point is that they use them in moderation and it flows well with the choreography rather than just having the majority of the dance be centered around showing as much skin as possible.

lordcron Note that she said "over-sexualized" (emphasis on OVER). The choreo for the females can still be considered "sexy", but in a classy way - as in, they're conveying the sexiness through the choreo alone rather than depending on waving their butts at the screen or showing as much skin as possible or making weird seductive faces at the camera constantly. This can also apply to Taemin. Even though the choreo does include some "sexy" moves, like the hip thrusts, they're subtle and don't dominate the entire choreography, and they're pulled off in a classy manner. If Taemin were to dance in the equivalent level of "sexiness" found in most girl group choreos, he'd be waving his crotch or butt at the camera 90% of the time and be wearing practically no clothes in performances.

He has other video's where he pulls off his shirt and thrusts hard and all and guess what?!.... The Girls always scream because they love it Right?!... Well the boys love the girls when they do sexy things also. I don't like it when someone tries to dumb down what I find sexy but want sexy for themselves. It's the ultimate in selfishness. Someone's gonna have relationship problems when they grow up that's for sure and it isn't gonna be me.

lordcron Come on, there is a difference between "sexy" and "oversexualized", some of us are adults here and there are some things that as an adult you can find sexy without being up there on your face, and there are just other things that are plain grotesque and completely inappropriate. If you like girls rubbing their behinds on your faces in public, well it's your issue, but there are ways to be sexy even to a straight girl, or gay guy, or any other grown-up person. Taemin can be sexy, as a lot of other guys and girls, without overdoing anything, but I guess you just have to be born with that sophistication and class, then.

Crying, I am 100% crying. Ultimate bias Lee Taemin I am so proud of you. I'm not gonna get into specifics but if you're a shawol you get it. The immense growth he has shown us blows my mind. So proud of you Taeminnie :')

In my opinion, Ace is the ideal song for Taemin (singing). His voice sounds sensual and very sensitive (not very powerful like Jonghyun's or Key's voices) but everyone has a different point of view. I know SHINee since 2010, I'm totally proud of them. ^_^ Taemin, I love your determination. :)

I love how he knows what his voice can and can't do and is very intentional with the way he emotes not only with his body but his voice. You literally feel every note he sings in your heart.

SM naming him Ace is one of the best things they’ve done. Taemin is worthy of the title not because of his popularity nor the no. albums he sold nor the awards he has received-it is because of his endless drive to become a better performer thus inspiring his everyone with his work values. He started with no lines in their debut song and was boxed as “just the dancer” of the group but he strove to be a better singer and now being named as one of the best soloists in kpop. Yes. I think that's the point. Michael Jackson was the pioneer of modern pop music. And he has a huge influence over K-Pop idols, especially with the boys of SMTOWN from what I've seen. I think if he were still alive today, he would be very pleased with what Taemin has done in his performances from this album. Think of it as a homage to his memory. As an MJ fan, I approve.

It’s one of the nicknames Taemints and Shawols use talking about him. Maybe it’s because it was his first song and it’s quite old now and because Taemin releases one bob after another and has so many iconic songs that not too many of us stream this song regularly. BeatBurger is Shim Jaewon's performing nickname (he also use the nickname for his DJ works and stuffs). BeatBurger project is his probably his portfolio for showing his choreography by letting SM's best dancers performing them. Previously it was Eunhyuk, now Taemin. Not sure who's next.
