SM is notorious for delaying debut solo albums. Taeyeon had to wait till her 8th year for her first album even though almost everyone kept waiting for it to drop. Seulgi just got her solo debut. Taemin was a little luckier, doing Ace in his 6th year. Ironic for a company who allowed BoA to debut at 13. I'm guessing Ten will have a full debut within the next year.

Ten is absolutely ready to be a solo artist. Lots of people mentioned Taemin, and it makes sense. Ten does what Taemin does, he brings more than just perfect technical ability to his work. He breathes soul into it, he's an artist. You can tell he's really trying to communicate something bigger with his voice and body, which comes from deep inside him. This performance just elevates that side of him again, and I think he hasn't showed us what he's capable of yet. I really hope he gets bigger opportunities. I am with him all the way.

Yes he reminded me of Taemin a whole lot. I am not a stan of shine or nct but i like a few if their songs. Whats interesting is I discovered solos of Taemin last year and loved every single one of them he is an incredible artist and now I`m discovering TEN I am falling in love with all of solos. I believe both of them are versatile and praiseworthy artist. Wish great success in TEN`s future work

I keep coming back here after reading each interview Ten gave out regarding the release of Birthday. In one of the interviews he gave out, he said he wanted to make an artwork rather than just choreography. I can definitely see that here. This is such a beautiful work of art. The whole set up is captivating. Every move seems like it has a story to tell. The fashion is also on point. Ten's facial expression also never disappoint. He had proven himself to be an incredible soloist. All the solo stations he released so far are very different, but they successfully show who Ten is as an artist (or who he was when it released) and every color he has within himself. If this is what we get for an NCT LAB, I can't wait to see how amazing the solo album would be.
