마크는 진짜 멋있음 표정도 멋있고 제스쳐도 멋있고 얼굴도 잘생겼고 목소리도 멋있고 춤도 멋있게 추고... Golden hour라는 노래가 너무 좋은 게 마크는 독보적인 캐릭터인데 그 독보적인 느낌이 노래에 그대로 살아있어서 좋음 곡 구성도 기성곡들의 문법을 그대로 따라가지 않은 부분이 맘에 들고 베이스로 깔리는 둔탁한 드럼과 찰진 일렉기타 소리가 흥겨워서 좋음. 또 가사 얘기를 안 할 수 없는데 Golden 과 Gordon으로 라임을 맞춘 것부터가 재치있고 고든램지가 갑자기 나온 게 아니라 본인이 만든 망한 계란후라이 사진때문에 촉발된 사건이 여기까지 왔다는 것도 재미있음. 사연을 아는 사람들이면 더 좋아할 수밖에 없음. 마크는 본인을 래퍼라고 부르면 부끄러워하는데 나는 약간의 허세가 묻어있는 래퍼다운 감성이 마크 매력인 것 같음 워낙 잘 하니까 전반적인 퀄리티가 올라가는 것도 좋고 뮤직비디오도 노래 느낌 살리게 엄청 잘 만들었다 생각함! 이 비디오 자체가 명작임 전작인 Child는 마크가 이런 걸 들고 나올 줄 몰라서 의외였고 또 진솔한 가사와 짙은 감성이 매력적이었지만 역시 아티스트로서의 캐릭터가 잘 사는 건 Golden hour라고 생각함 그리고 역시나 좋은 건 두 곡 다 진부한 느낌이 전혀 없었다는 거. 에스엠이 내보낸 아티스트 마크는 조금 지루해져가는 에스엠 속에서 혼자 날 서있는 게임체인져라고 생각함

Fact: Mark never disappoints, his songs are unique. he deserves all the success in the world. His look is completely out of this world. her singing skills are unreal. Mark is a complete idol.

everytime i come back to this MV, it just blows my mind by how genius it is

this song is such a masterpiece. everything about it is art. the lyrics in and of itself is such an impressive accomplishment. he literally took this joke about him not being able to cook eggs and turned it into a metaphor about life using golden hour. who can do this. i still don't know how he did it. i still don't know if i even understand it. over my head. the music video is so fun, eye-catching, and well thought out conceptually. the beat and melody are so addictive. everything about this is genius.

I swear. Mark, his brain, his creativity, and passion for music is such a gem. whole different level. despite having full-packed schedules, he managed to create this masterpiece. isn't he amazing????!

'here but not around' suggests that recreating yourself to fit into the 'everyone' is something only surface layer, being apart of that 'everyone' is only 'here', not something rounded within you, hence the 'around'. The 'you' that is being taken away is what is truly rounded, deep-rooted, transcending the barrier between appearance and self. AMAZING lyrics
