actually, leadership & leading dance practice, supporting for performances are not very related. Leading the practice shows that you are a strong main dancer and will be the key to the formation of the performances. like seventeen hoshi.

Seeing shotaro leading the team like this is so refreshing. He really is THAT dancer. Giving me leader vibes. Meking the members bow to the crowd even when it was dark and probably the audience wouldn’t see it. And him cheering for the rookies backstage before performing💚

I feel like Shotaro has always been portrayed as kind of a baby of the group (seniority-wise) up until now, so I hadn’t envisioned him in a leader position, but it’s all clicking now… I heard he used to be a dance teacher back in Japan too!

In addition to what we are shown here, Shotaro was seen looking out for the rookies during day 2 of Tokyo SMTOWN. He was calming the rookies down backstage. Seunghan and Eunseok were also seen clinging onto Shotaro's arms during the ending segment. He just has the leader vibes!

Shotaro dance is really something

I am always saying that Shotaro is cute but now I am seeing a new side of him as a performer. It is executed professionally. Dang, it lit! Also, this group/unit really compliment each other and it has that harmony and dynamic if they perform together.
