Did KPop transition from masculine portrayal of males to the androgynous make-up idols of today or were there two personas of KPop males? Fairly new to the genre via BTS.
This remastered MV makes me realize that almost all legends song and group are in SM. SES, H.O.T, Shinhwa, wow this agency really always produce legends.

BTS brought me to shinwa and loved them they are amazing 😍
I'm so happy that SM is remastering Shinhwa's old music videos, and I personally love the early 2000s kpop sound so much.

Look at them all being manly, charismatic and fit. They're all handsome in their own way. And their voices are so distinctive, both the vocals and the rap line. And I personally love Minwoo's vocals in this song so much. Shin Hyesung's visual is godly, looks like he just came out of an anime yet looks natural and soft.

This is so 90s boy band!! I wasn't a kpop fan at that time so listening to this brought me back to Back Streets Boys & NSYNC!!

It's not that they can't sing. It's just that today live singing is not what's matter to the industry. The standards are unattainable, perfect crisp vocals while doing hard choreos us not humanly possible. Even older groups that use to sing live are doing it less and less.
