When you've been an active artist/idol for 10 years thats pretty typical treatment. Its not a unique concept for people who've been in a company for a long time to have aloot of songs to choose from lol Obviously rookies don't get to do that but if you're not a rookie you do have the choice to pick what songs you want to promote.

This is better than the others solos. In the other hand, maybe the people who ''don't get it'' is because they like the childish sound of kpop. This is great, is actually music. Maybe I'm in the minority on this, but I don't think we should be putting the ones who've done solos up against the other. Each of them - Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun - have their own style and made it theirs. So there's really no comparison. There's not one that's better than the other. They're all amazing in their own style. I think we should just celebrate Seohyun's solo debut without having to bring someone else's down.

When SNSD's songs were cutesy and 'generic', people hated them for those and bashed them for not acting like their ages, but now that they started being more 'free' about their songs, people still hated them for changing their music style and wishes they come back to their old music style. Especially when they started going solo. You cant really please everybody.

What's surprising me is that this flawless hard-working vocally talented lady was the innocent girl who watched Sergeant Keroro and loves sweet potato more than any men. Great job, our maknae! The song fits her so well, I don't understand why do you guys said that this is bad. Maybe because it's not the mainstream genre we heard in Kpop before, that it just doesn't fit the taste of some of us. Well, tbh it does have an Ariana Grande feel. But, I heard that she wrote 6 out of 7 songs in her album and she actually chose this song by herself. We just have to trust that Seohyun knows her capabilities so that she chose this song to represent her album. Another well-done job by the woman who wants to live until she's 100 years old. LOL! Loving it! The first member that attracted me in SNSD, even though my bias is Yoona. Our maknae, fighting!

honestly in terms of solo activities, all SNSD members minus Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany and Yoona are underrated

TO EVERYONE WONDERING WHY SEOHYUN LEFT SM (here is why) 1) SM turned down two major film roles that were offered specifically for Seohyun by production: Architecture 101 and Train to Busan. Not any film roles but movies that became culturally significant blockbusters. Missing out once is already unbelievable but twice is heartbreaking. This is no way to discredit those who got the roles or achieved success from them or to even suggest . Soehyun would have benefited the same. Put yourself in her shoes? She said they did not even consult her before axing and she was sad even years later. 2) Her current drama " Bad Thief Good Thief" received ZERO promotions from SM. They never even announced she was casted or acknowledged it in any way. Seohyun has not done a single solo press interview for this drama while every other actor and character has, including when she juggled 1 50 episode drama at the same time as the 10th anniversary comeback and even wrote the title song. 3) Seohyun was never included in SM's actors index and her schedule was always messed up on the official calendar. Often the would not even add her activities. 4) Also from Seohyun - SM didnt want her to expand her vocal range or sing outside her role. They told her to stick to one way of singing and didnt help her improve her technique so she had to pursue that on her own through musicals. 5)There were several unreported acting and musical projects she was denied. Kyuhyun of Super Junior said his musical debut was delayed several yearrs because they did not want her kissing. On DC Drama were rumored castings in supporting roles of a number of big-name dramas that never panned though. She has a wide circle of A-listing acting connections but wasnt getting casted on anything. 6) All her musicals were achieved through her own initiative. Gone With The Wind and Mamma Mia specifically were casted by foreign producers that held blind auditions. She had the least variety appearances of any members in the past 7 years until this year. And funny enough, each time she appeared on a variety show, rating were good. She got great feedback and she topped Naver TV every time. Heechul said on Knowing Brothers that SM executives didnt want Seohyun on variety shows and stopped her. 8) She has an entire two OSTs in 10 years, both which were years and years ago. Least of all vocal line members. Some dance line members have more OSTs and digital releases than her. No solo station either. 9) Despite her fairly good public recognition, she has the least solo CF's, few photoshoots an was never sent to overseas events. 10) Terribly promoted solo. SM denied the solo then released her teasers a week later so fans could hardly prepare. She promoted during the slowest week of the year and it was also cut in half after a week for Lunar New Year. No expensive overseas production, no appearance on sketchbook, few interviews and photoshoots. 11) Seohyun's solo was delayed since 2014 because SM didnt support an image that wasnt "Maknae" like. From Seohyun herself, she struggled to have her self-written songs released.

Elle I've never been SNSD fan because I'm wonder girls fan and they were considered as enemy haha yeah so childish. I also hate sm because of what they done to shinhwa, babyVOX, hangeng, TVXQ, EXO-M and so on. After what happened to SNSD, I'm kinda sad cause SM kill those girls talents, skills and dreams. I didn't know that the case was so serious even after Jessica departure. I know how difficult the future will become to those who leave sm cause they'll try to ban these girls in any project. SM should be ban from the entertainment industry as many other gangster agencies.

Before the release she and SM alr knew it'd be not hugely welcomed by Korea public. This is more than just money. PASSION!!! She wants to do what she wants, does what she wants instead of playing safe. When Taeyeon released WHY, it was the same. They all know it but they want to show their own style. They have enough money. They want to explore as many genres as possible. Do what we can do as fans and appreciate what Seo gives us :)

Everyone can have their own opinions. She did indeed do very well and I love all the songs but the other girls did very well too. We should just appreciate their music and their effort to do all of this for us and not compare them to each other. This is not what they would want. Jessica did well but there is no need to dis SNSD. They have both worked hard so that we can enjoy their music. Love for all!!!
