truth to be told Jinki doesnt need the jumps and twists... his voice alone is capable of taking the stage. He has done several songs on these lines. I think people were just not ready for it? So they did not take the fame that they ABSOLUTLY deserved.

Whatever compliment you're trying to give, I assure you this isn't the way to give it. 'Idols' are real artists. Onew's always been a real artist.

it's definitely not easy for idols to have this kind of genre as the title track for their album. we know that its usually something upbeat and crazy, so this is a bold move of him. i mean i have seen it coming and im not disappointed at all. hes been in the industry for 14 years now and im happy that hes comfortable enough to have this song. it suits his voice so much, hes one of the very few idols who have versatile voices. Onew is indeed a treasure of kpop. this man deserves all the support he could get and this mv needs to have millions. KEEP STREAMING SHAWOLS!

Circle is the audio equivalent of a gentle hug, a forehead kiss, a soft hand squeeze. Onew really put his smile and soft loving gaze into the vocals. I love him so much.

agreed. I haven't listened to much of his solo stuff before but this song is incredible. it feels truly like a warm hug and an understanding heart that matches ones own.

It's 1 year later and I still tear up a little when I watch this MV

During his fan sign, Onew said there was no official producer for this album and he was the one "in charge" for that role (which means he probably directed the whole thing himself). “Jinki took on the role of the Executive Producer. It consists of choosing the composers/lyricists to work with, directing/guiding the artistic team, choosing the songs and arranging them in a cohesive tracklist, etc. It's basically being the boss of the entire project. Nothing on a project can pass without the executive producer having a say on it. Most sm albums used to have Lee Sooman as the executive producer. This song is so cool. They are so greats. Never dissapoint. I love it would be great than would do a collaboration with Belinda Latin Pop Princess and with others singer of latin music. Have more of 20 years of trayectory. How is this song healing? I'm having an existential crisis over here. This song makes me want to become an alcoholic and drink away the woes of this world, even though I'm not even depressed and have never drank alcohol before. This song has no hope, nor does it say that life has any real light or purpose.

What I love about SHINee (all members) is they're not afraid to try something new in their career life. Even after they're on 15 years now, they still try something new, that no one has tried before. You should check out Onew's discography as a soloist from 2018 and with his group SHINee from 2008. They are unbelievably talented and the real trendsetters of Kpop. Always doing things their way.

It’s difficult to fill the holes that characterize everyone’s soul. We are lacking, needy; we often feel ourself lonely, misunderstood. With his reassuring voice Onew sang some splendid words, trying to give comfort to those holes that I was talking about. He did not try to “fill” them, he just sat near to them telling them that he respects them, that the fact that they exist makes them “special like everything else”, maybe even more, because they are those things that consent us to distinguish a human being and his life experience from another one. We’re all the same in this world of differences that moves around following a circular path. I’m truly moved by the messages that he tried to convey, he is an unmatchable artist that maybe doesn’t deserve to be categorized like others in a genre full of shallowness. Thank you Onew, for being true to yourself and for sharing such a great masterpiece with us. I will always remember this.

I hate how saturated kpop has become over the past few years with hyper-productivity and you sum up my feelings perfectly about this comeback. I’m so glad Onew chose artistry over industry impact and what came out of that decision was a masterpiece. This album and song is everything and more and I think that it’s so special that we get to experience this all together like this in this point in time.

Wow. Just. Wow. With Voice, Onew started expressing himself as a solo artist. With Dice, he broke the image people had about him as a "ballad singer". With Life goes on, he started to draw a new style, to balance what he learnt from Voice and Dice. Finally, with Circle, he found his style. He polished the way his sings, selected amazing songs. Onew is an amazing artist and singer. Because O is a circle, I am in apnea while listening to it. When can I catch my breath when the song is going back and forth? When Onew's voice carry so much emotions ?! Thank you, Onew. I am so proud of being a fan of you. You evolved like crazy during the last two years. I need to listen to your album again and again to process it, but I am so excited to witness how far you will go now that you found your identity as a soloist, how great you will do as a singer...

What is amazing about Onew is that this type of music might not be for everyone, and yet, he has earned so much respect and admiration from even those people. It's REALLY difficult to do that, but his unique voice and the way he knows how to perfectly navigate through music, is just above and beyond. You can't help but admire him.

This song is STUNNING. Onew has always been a great vocalist, amazing even. But the tenderness with which he sings this song actually touched me which personally, doesn’t happen often. The lyrics are beautiful and hopeful in a way i don’t find cringe. I just love this. A true modern ballad.

I don't know how many times i've listened to this song, but I feel it. I feel the circles and changes of life and the happiness and melancholy of it all. Onew is such an amazing artist.

there are only a handful of singers who sing with such emotion and passion… I have always loved his voice but this album has become my fave in the past weeks (I was pretty late and discovered it only recently 🥲)… also think only a handful of k-pop artists (in particular) would come up with such song/album and nail it like he did… I think it takes a lot of courage and trust in oneself to be this creative dreamy onew 🤧🩵

This is one of the most unique songs I’ve ever heard, it takes you on a journey that’s both heart wrenching and heart warming. every time I listen to it I get the urge to cry because all of the feelings that I’ve buried deep down start resurfacing, but by the end of the song I have this feeling of lightness that makes me feel like I’d be alright.
