No, when they stay in hotels they usually rent the entire floor (at least for groups with many members or events like SMTOWN they definitely do). It's to make sure people don't "accidentally" stumble across the artists. I know BTS does this as well.

He totally knows what fans think, lol. And he kinda threw some shade at the same time, very lightly! He does it sometimes, which I love! I remember he said (in Yizhibo, which is similar to VLIVE) with NCT China Line + Ten, while saying cheesy pick up lines, that there's a language that he's actually fluent in (Cantonese) and he said the pick up line in Cantonese.
