Now if she’s started her career in her late 20’s to early 30’s, no one would make a big deal about her age. BoAは今、玄人からの人気が半端ないよね。韓国と日本の多くのミュージシャンから尊敬されて常に話題に上がる人物 BoAも言ってたけどkiss my lipsを出すには2015年は早すぎたって言ってて、今ならもっと売れたかもって。 本当この人は誰よりも音楽の最先端にいる人だなと思った。

came here because of LACHICA, the choreographers, because the dance is so freaking amazing!!

When people say she paved the way, it doesn't mean she did A to Z of Kpop but has made a great contribution to the industry. Yeah, there were and still are many brilliant artists before and after BoA's success. However, BoA showed us Kpop can go global with a hard-trained trainee of dance pop music. It was a social phenomenon: everyday newspaper and TV news were full of what she did and how foreign markets reacted, not only in cultural section but also in social, economic, and political sections. Plus, there's no entertainment company in Korea who even doesn't consult SM's strategies in 2000s which have roots in BoA's success. So stop devalue what she did. Don't tell me that I don't know Korean culture and history cuz I'm Korean and I've got ages enough to know and listen to Korean pops in 2000s and 1990s when I was young.

Yes she did . She paved the way for kpop into Asian countries mainly Japan. But she couldn't establish herself in the western market. She still GOAT thoo😇

Nobody denies it, the success that BoA had in her time and insurance for kpop, I think we are talking about settling there and making a very significant change in an industry that has proven not to be xenophobic But in preferences to its artists

@@mikasa6111 - If it wasn’t for BoA charting on billboard in a foreign country (especially back then considering the internet media wasn’t a thing & wasn’t accessible to everyone) , other current idols wouldn’t have even dare to try 😇.

I came back when I saw a post that she’s retiring once her contract is finished.

20 years later she's still going at it. WOW. She's the REAL Pop Queen.

She wasn't called as Queen of K-Pop for nothing, I mean just look at her everything is perfect.

I’ve been following her career for 17 years and honestly she manages to keep surprising me with each comeback. Her dancing skills is one of the best in the industry, no matter her age. This song is just captivating for me. Her vocal is awesome here. Love the song!
